We optimized the migration, design, and development of this two-site project by building both stores on a shared foundation. This ensured consistent functionality, content management, and app integrations, while allowing brand-specific features – such as NHC’s member pricing and loyalty program – to be layered on without fragmenting the codebase. Using Figma’s variable modes functionality to automate styling, paired with leveraging CSS variables in our custom built style guide, we delivered two distinct brand experiences from a single, scalable design system and codebase.
